Hi, I'm Devin

Since I was a teenager, I’ve been obsessed with personal growth and development. My home life required that I look elsewhere for models of how to lead and manage myself, my emotions, and my life direction.

I’ve spent my career exploring the nature of leadership, power, social dynamics, organizational systems, philosophy, religion, and ethics.

I've been a student of multiple coaching methods and am honored to be certified in Stakeholder Centered Coaching®, the approach pioneered by my Dartmouth colleague Marshall Goldsmith.

I’ve been working for decades in roles helping to teach, train, mentor, and coach emerging and established leaders. I've worked with founders, executives, managers, and others with leadership responsibilities in highly competitive environments.

I’ve taken my passion and hard-won expertise and crafted a coaching program to support and provide guidance for people like you.

I’m a driven high achiever. I've battled the pitfalls of drivenness and high achievement. And I work with driven high achievers.

Experience

Devin Singh, Ph.D., SCC, is an internationally recognized thought leader, award-winning professor, and path-breaking author, speaker, and coach working at the intersection of leadership development, ethics, and social theory.

Devin is the founder and president of Leadership Kinetics, LLC, a coaching and leadership development firm that helps high achievers take their leadership impact and effectiveness to the next level. His clients include dynamic corporate executives, driven start-up founders, and key organizational leaders whose definition of success entails a life and legacy of meaning, impact, and integrity.

Devin received his PhD in Religious Studies from Yale, and MA in Social Sciences from University of Chicago, and is certified in Marshall Goldsmith's method of Stakeholder Centered Coaching®, bringing a powerful and tested process for leadership growth and change to leaders within organizations.

Devin is also a tenured Associate Professor of Religion at Dartmouth College, where he teaches courses in philosophy, ethics, organizational dynamics, and the connections among religion, economics, and politics. He serves as a guest lecturer at Tuck School of Business, and has also held positions at Harvard, Princeton, and Yale.

He is the author of Divine Currency: The Theological Power of Money in the West (Stanford University Press, 2018), which examines the influential connections among money, religion, culture, and politics, and uncovers important roots to money’s influence today.

Devin is also co-editor of Reimagining Leadership on the Commons: Shifting the Paradigm for a More Ethical, Equitable, and Just World (Emerald, 2021), which offers theory and case studies from practitioners fashioning collectively led and commons-centered organizations. His work has been nationally and internationally recognized, appearing in periodicals such as Time, Washington Post, Huffington Post, and Harvard Theological Review.

Devin has a black sash in Shaolin kung fu, and has also trained full contact in Muay Thai kickboxing in Thailand. His martial arts background has provided opportunities to coach and train others, offer self-defense workshops, and gain expertise in mindfulness and meditation techniques, all of which inform his approach to coaching, training, and development.

Devin identifies as Asian American and multiracial, and concerns around diversity, equity, and inclusion inform all his work. Being raised in diplomatic and international development contexts, and having visited, lived or studied in over 35 countries, he brings a global and culturally aware perspective to his coaching and training. He is passionate about nurturing and directing the innate energies and talents in his clients, and in helping form healthy and sustainable teams and organizational cultures.
